It has been an extremely cold winter in Philadelphia, and between the weather and the covid-19 pandemic getting outside has been challenging. With the sun going down early and minimal wedding work the days have started to blend together. I didn’t want these things to get me down, and I knew there was a silver lining to all this cold. Snow! We’ve already had two major snowstorms here in Philly, and while they’ve made it difficult to get around it has been great for my inner child. I love looking out the window to see great big snowflakes drift gracefully by. I love to put on all my layers and walk around the city, making the first imprints on perfectly fresh snow. Luckily, George and Maddy live within walking distance from me, and they love the snow as much as I do. They agreed to meet me on a quiet afternoon with their gorgeous Irish Setter, Henley. Their local park has the most amazing view of the Philadelphia Art Museum, and we had an awesome time laughing and playing in the snow that had piled up over the past few days. While the snow wasn’t in the forecast on the day we shot, right near the end of our photoshoot it started to come down in flurries. It was magical, and I had the best time photographing this sweet couple and their dog!
