Mementos for Modern Lovers
For the last decade, she's been a professional photographer fine-tuning her craft. She began her photography career with the Philadelphia 76ers and expanded her sports portfolio to include the Philadelphia Flyers and the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team. You can find her images on social media pages, team websites, and sometimes even billboards and bus ads. What does this have to do with her wedding practice? Well, Hannah loves the moments of emotional intensity that you find in both sports and weddings. She loves capturing quiet moments on a busy day, and quickly fleeting moments that flash by like lightning. All of this is to say, she loves what she does, and couldn’t imagine her life without photography.
My great great uncle immigrated to Philadelphia from Ukraine and opened a camera store. This store was the backbone of my family, and kept my grandmother and her siblings fed during the great depression. As time went on, they all ended up learning the trade and working behind the shop counter. This is how my great aunt met her husband (pictured here). Another great uncle ended up developing and processing war photographs as part of his service in World War II.
We will suggest you stand in beautiful light as you go about your day, and we will encourage you to move in ways that are the most flattering to you. We will never interrupt a meaningful moment with your loved ones. We will give you space to process and just be. Photography is not just a beautiful product, but a memory frozen in time. We'll do everything we can to make our time together the most pleasant of memories.
To us, weddings are a reminder of the two most important truths of life. That we were put on this earth to love one another, and that our time to do so is fleeting. Documenting that love is a great honor, and while we will absolutely have the most fun doing it, we do not take our role in your day lightly.
